Looking at the Grotto of the Three Fountains we find the Virgin of Revelation clasping a book to her heart: that book is the Divine Revelation or the Word of God.
We find our charisma in that symbol: keeping the Divine Revelation in our hearts, just as the Virgin Mary did and spreading it in communion with the Church.
In her, the Word became flesh when She said, "May it be done to me according to your word" (Luke 1:38) and we want to embody the Word of Jesus with our total dedication, saying "Serviam","I shall serve you".
Our logo takes its inspiration from this symbol:
- hands holding the book of the Holy Scriptures, the gift and letter of God to mankind;
- the letter M as in Mary as in spiritual maternity,
as in mission;
- Our name, "Missionaries of the Divine Revelation", demonstrates our vocation, rooted in the enthusiastic study of the Word of God. This Word resonates in the authentic Teaching of the Church, of which we consider ourselves emissaries;
- The motto "Serviam" summarizes our service to the Catholic Church which has been carrying out God's plan for salvation over history.
OUR COLORS:
The green of our habit reminds us that we were spiritually born at the Grotto of the Three Fountains, where the Virgin Mary appeared wearing a green mantle over a long white robe which fell to her feet and a pink band around her waist.
- Green: represents the Father, the Love that creates, symbolising Creation.
- White: represents the Son, the Love that saves, symbolising Grace.
- Pink: represents the Holy Spirit, the Love that sanctifies, symbolising the breath of the Holy Spirit.
After a lengthy experience of lay devotion, we have decided to be completely dedicated to the original charisma ideal, continuing in the footsteps of founder, Mother Prisca Mormina, who
wanted to lead us to the Consecrated Life as the Church intends it.
Our greatest wish is to respond to the world's need for God, especially in these times.
We believe that young people are needed who are willing to make known, in all corners of the world, Jesus and His Church.
The Missionaries of Divine Revelation are ready to do this.
In the Vineyard of the Lord (Mt 20,7) there are still many empty places: would you like to come and work with us?
Diocesan approval was signed by Cardinal Camillo Ruini on 11 February 2001.
A Work of the Church, for the Church, with the Church!
